# General installation
> Mounting, power supply, grounding.
## Mounting
Consider the following recommendations when installing:
* Solidyne Audimax 362HD processors are designed for installation in a standard 483 mm (19") rack, occupying one rack unit.\
It can also be placed on a desk using the provided self-adhesive rubber feet.
* Ambient temperature must be maintained between **5 °C and 40 °C**.\
Avoid direct sunlight exposure on the processor, as well as proximity to heat sources or strong electromagnetic fields (power transformers, large motors, etc.).\
Its internal RF field protection allows mounting near AM/FM transmitters.
Avoid installation in very humid places or salty atmospheres, as this can cause corrosion on printed circuits and electronic components.
## Power Supply
* **110/220V voltage selector switch**: verify it is in the correct position according to mains voltage.\
Variations of up to ±10% are tolerated (example: 200-240V for 220V position).
If mains voltage exceeds this range, install fast-acting voltage regulators to prevent equipment damage.
* **Interlock power connector** and **1A main fuse**.
* **Power switch**.
### Recomendación general para puesta a tierra y protecciones
Para evitar daños en los equipos, se deben adoptar las medidas correspondientes de puesta a tierra y protección en las líneas de Internet y telefonía. La garantía no cubre daños ocasionados por descargas atmosféricas (rayos), sobretensiones o fallas en la red eléctrica.
