# Using the Bluetooth Mobile

> Bluetooth mobile operation

### Link Activation

<Steps>
  <Step title="Set up CELL Phone zone">
    Ensure the **LEVEL** control is closed (level at zero) and the **CUE/PGM** button is in **CUE** position (released).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enable Bluetooth on the console">
    Press and hold the **BLT** button for \~2 seconds and release as soon as it lights up.\
    The LED starts blinking slowly, indicating Bluetooth is active.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enable Bluetooth on the mobile phone">
    Turn on Bluetooth on the phone.

    * If previously paired, the connection will be automatically restored in a few seconds.
    * The mobile phone is now linked to the console.

### Incoming Call

<Steps>
  <Step title="Verify CUE mode">
    Check that the **CUE/PGM** button is in **CUE** position (released).

    <Danger>
      If it's in **PGM**, answering the call could accidentally put it on air.
    </Danger>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Answer the call">
    * If Bluetooth is already active, the call can be answered with a short press of the console's **BLT** button. In this condition, communication is handled exclusively through the console.
    * If Bluetooth is off on the mobile, you can answer normally and then enable Bluetooth to transfer it to the MiniMixer.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Transfer to console">
    Once the call is transferred, the line receives program signal (**PGM**).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Off-air conversation">
    Press the **TALK** button in the **CELL Phone** zone to speak privately with the caller.\
    Audio is heard through headphones.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Put the call on air">
    Press **CUE/PGM** to switch to **PGM** and adjust the level with the corresponding knob.
  </Step>

  <Step title="End the call">
    * With a short press of the **BLT** button.
    * Or directly from the phone.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Resume call on mobile">
    You can continue the communication on the phone by switching from **Headset (Bluetooth)** to **Speaker** mode.

  Some Android models show the **Headset** icon, which transfers the call to the Bluetooth device when active and returns it to the mobile when disabled.\
  Other phones may display two buttons, a dropdown menu, or other combinations. Consult your device manual.

### Making a Call from Mobile

<Steps>
  <Step title="Configure the mobile">
    On the phone, switch Bluetooth mode to **Speaker**, to initially talk from the mobile itself.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Place the call">
    Dial and send the call (**SEND**).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Transfer to console">
    Switch the phone mode to **Headset (Bluetooth)** to transfer audio to the MiniMixer.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check console status">
    Before transferring, ensure **CUE/PGM** is in **CUE** position (released).

    <Danger>
      If the button is in **PGM**, transferring the call could accidentally put it on air.
    </Danger>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Put the call on air">
    Switch **CUE/PGM** to **PGM** and adjust the level.
  </Step>

  <Step title="End communication">
    * Briefly press the **BLT** button on the console.
    * Or end from the mobile phone.
  </Step>

<Warning>
  **Conference Not Supported**\
  It is not possible to establish a conference between the landline and Bluetooth line.\
  Both can be on air simultaneously, but they cannot hear or talk to each other.
