
Models
The UNIDEX Series includes two mixing console models: UX24 and UX18. Both models share features and operating modes.UDX Adapters
- UNIDEX stands for “UNIversal Desktop with EXternal adapters”.
- Each UNIDEX input accepts a UDX adapter (telecommunications, microphones, USB, etc.).
- Direct connection to console: no routers, switches or networks required.
- Adapters communicate data and function control from the console surface.
IP Audio (optional)
- Enables advanced interconnection between devices and studios through an audio network.
- Requires a dedicated network and compatible DANTE/AES67 input/output nodes.
- Control via WEB interface from remote studios.
Hardware
- Internal processing: 24-bit @ 48 kHz full-digital DSP.
- High-durability 100mm soft-touch faders:
UX24: 12 mechanical + 12 “virtual” on 7” touchscreen
UX18: 10 mechanical + 8 “virtual” on 7” touchscreen - UX24 expandable to 18 or 24 mechanical faders with UX6 panels (6 faders).
Connectivity
- All I/O via RJ45 on rear panel.
- RJ45→XLR/TRS/RCA adapters available.
Broadcasting
- Plug & play: factory configuration ready to use.
- No advanced knowledge required.
- Operation similar to traditional console.
- Audio processing adjusted via touchscreen.
User Levels
- Basic: access to minimal functions.
- Intermediate: includes advanced options.
- Administrator: full access to configuration and settings.
Advanced Flexibility
- Assign any input to any of the 12 mechanical faders or 12 virtual faders.
- Create scenes with channel and processing settings.
- Remote control and configuration via IP (WEB browser).
- Supports up to two simultaneous air studios.
- Use VST effects in real-time via USB ASIO and external computer.
All functions and adjustments are managed from the touchscreen or via IP from a browser on tablet or computer.
