AoIP Streaming Module

Consoles equipped with the optional /AoIP can include up to two audio streaming service modules:
  • With 1 module: they transmit the PGM signal.
  • With 2 modules: they transmit PGM and REC.
AoIP Applications:
  • Transmitter site link (STL) using dedicated receivers (Solidyne ADA102, Solidyne 542 APC /AoIP processors).
  • Direct link with another /AoIP console (Solidyne 2600, DX or UNIDEX series).
  • Sending the PGM/REC signal to a remote computer on the network, decoded with standard streaming software (e.g., VLC Player).

AoIP Module Power Supply

AoIP modules are powered through USB connections. They require at least one USB to be connected to a powered computer.
If the console is not connected to a USB computer, or if it is powered off, the IP service will not be available.
In the absence of a computer, it is possible to connect a standard USB power supply (5V) to power the AoIP modules.
